Senior Grant Accountant - Waltham, MA
Our client, a leading institution in the higher education sector, is seeking a Senior Grant Accountant to manage post-award grant activities. This role ensures compliance with sponsor regulations, oversees financial reporting, and provides guidance on grant management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee post-award grant management, including financial reporting and compliance.
- Monitor grant expenditures, invoicing, and cash flow.
- Review and approve financial transactions to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Assist with grant setup, budget analysis, and financial reconciliations.
- Manage grant closeout processes, including billing and collections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in grant accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial systems (Workday is a plus).
