Controller - Boston, MA
Our client, a boutique investment firm, is seeking an experienced Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations and support fund accounting activities. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone with deep fund accounting knowledge, strong technical skills, and the ability to work in a lean, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including AP and financial reporting
- Lead fund accounting processes and ensure timely, accurate reporting
- Maintain and optimize accounting software and tools
- Collaborate with internal team and remote support staff
- Provide financial insights and reporting to leadership
Qualifications
- Strong background in fund accounting (investment or real estate sectors preferred)
- Advanced experience with Yardi software
- Highly proficient in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
