Accounts Payable Accountant
Our client, a large health-care organization in Boston, MA, is seeking an AP Accountant for a short-term remote contract. This role will assist with invoice processing, vendor management, payment tracking, and financial reporting. Ideal for someone with strong accounting skills and experience in AP functions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with invoice processing, payment tracking, and vendor setup
- Help manage check runs, voids/reissues, and ACH verification
- Review and code invoices for accuracy
- Prepare templates for AP uploads and monthly reports
- Support audits, 1099 processing, and reporting requests
- Collaborate with internal teams and provide strong customer service
- Maintain accurate records and ensure policy compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 3+ years of accounting or AP experience
- Familiarity with AP/GL systems (Infor, Cognos, Brainware a plus)
