Controller
Our client, a manufacturing company located in Bristol County, MA, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager/Controller to oversee daily financial operations. This hands-on role will support financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and internal controls, while also supervising a small accounting team. Ideal for someone with strong accounting experience in a manufacturing environment who can step into a leadership role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain internal controls and ensure policy compliance
- Support external audit and coordinate with auditors
- Oversee cost accounting, credit/collections, and expense reporting
- Provide financial insights and reporting to management
- Supervise and support accounting staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 7+ years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in manufacturing
- ERP system experience required (Epicor preferred)
