Accounts Payable Specialist - Watertown, MA
Our client, a growing company in the biotech/pharma space, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a temp-to-perm opportunity. This position supports day-to-day accounts payable functions including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor communication. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role ideal for someone with strong AP experience who thrives in a start-up environment.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and manage approvals within accounting software
- Ensure accuracy of invoice data, including purchase orders, codes, and tax details
- Support weekly payment runs and reconcile vendor statements
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment or approval issues
- Maintain reports and assist with metrics tracking
- Participate in AP-related projects and process improvements as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable or finance experience
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is required
- Familiarity with Citibank payment processing is a strong advantage
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
