Senior Accountant - Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Our client, a global management consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support their general ledger operations during a maternity leave coverage. This role focuses on month-end close activities, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Support month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and journal entry preparation
- Record and review general ledger transactions for corporate entities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reports
- Collaborate closely with Finance, FP&A, HR, and other internal teams
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete accounting close checklist items
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience; corporate or professional services industry experience a plus
- Experience with SAP preferred; Oracle or NetSuite experience acceptable
- Highly proficient in Excel; experience with FloQast or Tableau is a plus
