Senior Accountant - Boston, MA
Our client, a rapidly growing technology company in the automation and robotics industry, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the monthly and quarterly close process and maintain accurate financial reporting in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role will be responsible for journal entries, financial statement preparation, and ERP-based accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review journal entries related to cash, payroll, fixed assets, revenue, and COGS
- Assist with consolidated financial statement preparation and internal/external reporting
- Process AP invoices and manage sales/use tax accruals in NetSuite and other systems
- Oversee sales order approvals and operations billing for spare parts and periodic charges
- Support internal and external audits with schedules, reconciliations, and documentation
- Drive process improvements and resolve accounting discrepancies proactively
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in general accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; graduate degree a plus
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis functions
- Proficiency with ERP systems; NetSuite strongly preferred
