Payroll Clerk - Worcester County, MA - Onsite

Our client, a busy organization in the construction industry, is seeking a Payroll Clerk to support payroll operations and ensure accurate time tracking and payment processing for both union and non-union employees. This role will be responsible for managing employee records, processing deductions, and preparing reports for job-specific and union payroll compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Track and compile time records and manage employee setup in timekeeping systems
• Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and assist with documentation
• Prepare weekly/monthly union payroll reports and job-specific reporting as needed
• Process payroll deductions for healthcare, garnishments, and other with-holdings
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in the payroll system
• Handle confidential payroll information with discretion and accuracy

Qualifications:

• Proficient with payroll systems and Microsoft Office
• Prior payroll experience in a union or construction environment a plus
