Tax Analyst - Marlborough, MA (Hybrid Contract)
Our client, a national retail organization, is seeking a Tax Analyst to support their property tax team during a busy filing season. This is a short-term hybrid contract role focused on managing personal and real property tax payments, reconciliations, and asset data analysis.
The ideal candidate will assist with processing tax bills, preparing returns, and supporting audit responses while ensuring compliance with local filing deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process real estate and personal property tax bills
- Assist with personal property tax returns and related fixed asset reporting
- Support accruals, budgets, and income/expense reports for property tax purposes
- Reconcile general ledger accounts related to property taxes
- Respond to auditor and assessor inquiries and support audit documentation
- Monitor deadlines and support internal process improvements
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in property tax, accounting, or fixed asset roles preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP a plus) and tax software (ITAM a plus)
