Accounting Manager - Hybrid / Braintree, MA
Our client, a healthcare services company, is seeking an Accounting Manager for a temporary engagement covering a leave through the end of the year. The Accounting Manager will lead the day-to-day accounting operations, with a primary focus on month-end close activities, team oversight, and financial accuracy across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
- Review location-level P&Ls and identify variances
- Supervise and support accounting staff; review work for accuracy
- Respond to accounting inquiries from operational teams across ~150 sites
- Maintain accounting procedures and documentation
- Support fixed assets tracking and related reporting
- Assist with cross-functional projects and ad hoc financial analysis
Qualifications
- 7+ years of accounting experience, including staff oversight
- Strong Excel skills; experience with NetSuite highly preferred
