Accounting Clerk - Onsite / Springfield, MA
Our client, a construction services firm with nationwide operations, is seeking an Accounting Clerk for a fully onsite role. The Accounting Clerk will support general accounting operations, focusing on AR/AP, reconciliations, billing, and project tracking.
Responsibilities
- Enter financial data into accounting system and trackers
- Reconcile general ledger, bank accounts, and AR/AP aging
- Record cash receipts and assist with collections
- Maintain billing projection and cash on hand reports
- Support certified payroll review and project setup tasks
- Attend management meetings to report on AR status
- Perform filing and general administrative duties
Qualifications
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel and general computer skills
