Medical Billing Associate - Westwood, MA (Hybrid)
Our client, a well-established organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Medical Billing Associate to support a billing system transition project.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify insurance and demographic data using internal systems and payer tools
- Submit accurate claims and appeals in compliance with payer and regulatory requirements
- Resolve charge edits, claim rejections, and denials in a timely manner
- Process overpayments and ensure claim runs are accepted and reconciled properly
- Respond to inquiries from patients, payers, and internal teams
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in multispecialty physician or medical billing
- EPIC billing system experience is strongly preferred
