Payment Operations Specialist - Hybrid / Needham, MA
Our client, a community bank, is seeking two Payment Operations Specialists for contract assignments running through early next year. These roles will begin onsite in Needham, with the option to work from home 1-2 days per week after training.
Responsibilities:
- Process and monitor ACH transactions, check exceptions, and other payment activities
- Assist with wire transfers, positive pay, and account set-up/maintenance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal procedures
- Research and resolve payment issues in a timely manner
- Support audits, reporting, and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of ACH experience required
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Prior banking or financial services experience preferred
