Financial Analyst - Boston, MA
Our client, a higher education institution, is seeking a Financial Analyst for a 6-month contract to support their finance team. The Financial Analyst will assist with forecasting, reconciliations, reporting, and ad hoc analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Support monthly forecasting and maintain budget tracking tools.
- Review and reconcile financial data and prepare journal entries.
- Assist with reporting, dashboards, and financial documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure budgets align with approved spending.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 3+ years of financial analysis or accounting experience; higher ed experience a plus.
- Experience with SAP, Power BI, or similar financial systems preferred.
