Staff Accountant - Norwell, MA
Our client, a manufacturing and consumer products company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support their finance team. This role focuses on general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly.
- Support the month-end close process and assist with inter-company reconciliations.
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Assist with sales tax submissions and ad hoc accounting projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of accounting experience, including general ledger and month-end close.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems preferred.
