Compliance & Risk Coordinator - Lexington, MA
Our client, a financial institution in the Lexington area, is seeking a Compliance & Risk Coordinator for a 6-month contract with potential for long-term conversion. This role supports key internal audit, risk, and compliance efforts and will assist with backlog cleanup, daily compliance reviews, and fraud monitoring alongside a small, collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly compliance and audit reviews
- Monitor fraud and suspicious activity alerts and support reporting requirements
- Maintain internal tracking systems for compliance and risk issues
- Support backlog cleanup of outstanding internal reports and documentation
- Review internal controls, reports, rates, and vendor payments as needed
- Communicate findings and recommendations to compliance leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in banking, credit union operations, or financial services
- Experience with systems like Fiserv DNA or Verafin is a plus, but not required
