Staff Accountant - Onsite in Warren, RI
Our client, a family-owned food manufacturing company, is seeking a Staff Accountant for a temporary assignment through the end of the year, with potential to extend or convert to full-time. This role is fully onsite and will support the accounting team with AP and AR functions during a busy season.
Responsibilities:
- Process and code invoices and expense reports in a high-volume environment
- Support AP and AR reconciliations across multiple locations
- Assist with month-end processes and reporting as needed
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness in accounting transactions
- Utilize Excel and ERP systems for daily accounting tasks
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of accounting experience with strong AP and invoice coding background
- Prior experience in a mid-to-large sized company
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) required
