Staff Accountant - Lawrence, MA (Onsite)
Our client, a company in the hospitality and real estate industry, is seeking a Staff Accountant for a temp-to-perm opportunity. This role will support general accounting operations, including AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end close and preparation of financial reports
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank and credit card accounts
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Maintain general ledger and fixed asset records
- Help with audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting as needed
- Contribute to process improvements and ensure accurate financial documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of experience in accounting (AP, AR, reconciliations, fixed assets)
- Experience with accounting software (R365 highly preferred; Sage, QuickBooks, or similar also considered)
