Accounts Payable Associate - Onsite / Warren, RI
Our client, a well-established company in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join their finance team. This is a fully onsite role with the potential to convert to full-time.
Responsibilities:
- Review, process, and reconcile vendor invoices
- Ensure accuracy of invoice approvals and supporting documentation
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices; resolve discrepancies with internal teams
- Assist with vendor setup and maintain accurate records for reporting and compliance
- Support preparation of year-end documentation (e.g., 1099s)
- Prepare and process payments for approval
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounts payable or related accounting function
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems preferred (not required)
