Payroll Clerk
Our client, a leading construction services company, is seeking a Payroll Clerk to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role will support payroll processing for employees, ensuring accurate and timely pay while maintaining organized records and reports. You'll assist with payroll data entry, timekeeping, and reporting, as well as serve as a point of contact for employee payroll questions.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll and maintain accurate employee time and attendance records
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports
- Manage employee deductions and maintain confidential payroll files
- Coordinate with HR and other departments on payroll changes and compliance requirements
- Support data entry, reconciliation, and administrative tasks within payroll systems
Qualifications
- 2+ years of payroll or accounting support experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
