Billing Specialist - Hybrid (Boston, MA)
Our client, a fast-paced technology company, is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their Accounting & Finance team on a 6-month contract. This hybrid role is based in Boston, with flexibility to work remotely up to three days per week.The Billing Specialist will support the day-to-day billing cycle, invoice processing, and revenue operations for a large and dynamic customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Create and process customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Review order forms, payment terms, and credits prior to billing
- Manage customer billing portals and vendor registration updates
- Assist with payment and transactions, including dispute resolution and reconciliations
- Support monthly billing checks, account reconciliations, and reporting
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure billing accuracy
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and billing details
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in billing, revenue operations, or a similar role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/CRM systems (NetSuite and Salesforce strongly preferred)
