Part-Time AP Specialist / Staff Accountant - Hybrid / Cambridge, MA
A growing organization in the life sciences industry is seeking a part-time accounting professional to support core financial operations. This role will focus on accounts payable, payment processing, and assisting with routine accounting tasks. The position offers exposure to payroll and month-end close activities in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate data entry
  • Prepare and execute vendor payments and reconcile statements
  • Assist with payroll processing and expense reporting
  • Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries
  • Maintain organized financial records and assist with audits and compliance reporting

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
  • Proficiency with accounting software (experience with Sage Intacct or QuickBooks preferred)
