Senior Accounts Payable Staff Accountant - Hybrid / Boston, MA
Responsibilities
- Support daily AP operations, including reviewing transactions, resolving payment issues, and assisting with account reconciliation
- Handle advanced AP functions such as month-end close tasks, payment reviews, and documentation updates
- Research and resolve complex vendor, banking, and payment-related inquiries
- Participate in audits, compliance activities, and year-end reporting
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify policies, troubleshoot issues, and support escalated requests
- Review wire payments and other outgoing transactions for accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or financial operations
- Prior experience with procurement or enterprise systems a plus
