Legal Recruiting Manager
Location: Hybrid in Boston (onsite 3 days/week)
Our client, a prestigious law firm in Boston, is seeking a creative and proactive Legal Recruiting Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting and onboarding law students as well as lateral associate attorneys. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience managing recruiting professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the law student recruiting process (outreach, pipelining, summer programs, hiring decisions) to meet the firm's hiring targets
- Manage university relationships, on-campus interviews, job fair participation, and recruitment
- Develop strategy and create process to cultivate and nurture a recruiting pipeline
- Design and oversee all components of the firm-wide summer associate program, including orientation, training sessions, work assignment process, evaluation process, overseeing social events, and acting as liaison to students
- Supervise the lateral associate recruiting process from beginning to end, focusing on experienced lateral attorneys, as well as non-attorney technical positions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of experience recruiting attorneys & law students
- Prior management experience required
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
