Contract HR Generalist
Location: Onsite 5 days/week in Bar Harbor, Maine
A research institution in Bar Harbor, ME, is looking to hire a collaborative HR Generalist to join their team. This is a long-term contract assignment with potential to convert to direct hire with strong performance.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers who have questions about HR policies and procedures (including benefits, compensation, leaves, HRIS, training, etc.)
- Respond to employee relations concerns, escalating to HR Business Partners as needed on complex issues
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for employees
- Collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders to deliver top tier HR support to the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of HR Generalist experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
