Need is for TWO Strategic Sourcing Advisors
These roles will be 100% REMOTE and 4 month contracts
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Sourcing Advisor to support the strategic sourcing process across various categories including IT, clinical services, professional services, and industrial products. This role collaborates with Category Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to execute end-to-end sourcing activities while ensuring alignment with business needs and organizational goals.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in sourcing, procurement, or finance, with experience managing RFX events, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contracting. Familiarity with ERP systems, spend analysis, and risk mitigation strategies is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in IT sourcing and working with enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead or support strategic sourcing events including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze supplier proposals and select optimal solutions.
Support or manage supplier evaluations, due diligence, and negotiation strategies.
Assist in contract drafting and revision in collaboration with contract analysts and legal teams.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on sourcing project progress and timelines.
Contribute to savings tracking and documentation, process improvement, and change management.
Conduct spend analysis using ERP tools to identify opportunities for cost savings and risk mitigation.
Support supplier relationship development and ongoing supplier management activities.
Execute sourcing activities in compliance with internal policies and sourcing standards.
Educate business units on procurement best practices and sourcing procedures.
Assist in the rollout of category management initiatives across departments.
Participate in supplier visits, business presentations, and internal sourcing-related meetings.
Maintain sourcing documentation, performance reports, and historical supplier data.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, procurement, IT, or related business functions.
Proven track record of supplier negotiation, proposal analysis, and contract support.
Experience managing or facilitating RFX events and supplier selection processes.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to shifting priorities.
Experience using sourcing and analysis tools (e.g., TCO, ROI, risk assessment techniques).
