We have a great opportunity for one of our clients in Elgin! This role is excellent for someone looking for training and growth within a corporate office environment. The ideal candidate has excellent attendance, customer service experience within a retail or call center environment, and is available for various shifts. This is an onsite role in Elgin that starts as a contract with the potential to be hired on if metrics are met. Available shifts below.
- 8:30-5:30pm, 2 late nights per week until 7pm
- 8:30-5:30pm, 2 late nights per week until 8pm
- 9:30-6:30pm, 2 late nights per week until 9pm
- 10:30-7:30pm, 2 late nights per week until 10pm
Responsibilities:
- Connecting with members on behalf of various credit unions for the purpose of resolving “early – stage” member delinquency.
- Averaging 21 inbound/outbound calls per hour
- Navigating multiple screens and updating system with member information quickly and accurately.
- Basic multiplication and division depending on the extent of delinquency and the payment arrangements necessary to bring the account current.
- While multi-tasking (reading, typing, and listening) is regularly required to sit for an extended time, use a keyboard, and talk to callers via a hands-free headset
Qualifications:
- Proficient typing (30-40 words per minute), listening, computer, and reading skills
- Ability to meet the following metrics (not all inclusive): average of 21 outbound calls per hour
- Exceptional attendance record – ability to work scheduled days/evenings, Saturdays and some Holidays
- Quickly and efficiently navigate through several computer programs simultaneously while accurately documenting interaction details
- Basic math skills and excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to effectively handle and diffuse challenging situations based on reason for call and temperament of the caller
- Ability to manage and control emotions and stress while maintaining excellent customer service on all interactions
- Desire and ability to provide excellent customer service on every interaction while having a professional and upbeat attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment
