Job Title: Wealth Management Support Associate
Location: Norfolk, VA (Hybrid - 2-3 days WFH after training)
Our client, a private wealth management and family office practice, is seeking a Family Office Professional to support high-net-worth clients with bookkeeping, reporting, and bill-pay services. This individual will play a key role in managing client transactions, preparing reports, and working closely with both clients and their professional advisors.
Key Responsibilities
Record transactions, manage client bill-pay, and track account balances to ensure adequate funds for upcoming expenses.
Reconcile accounts and prepare monthly reports for client review.
Generate monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc transaction reports using financial software.
Assist with annual informational tax filings (1099s, W-2s, etc.).
Build thorough knowledge of assigned client relationships and maintain direct client communications.
Partner with attorneys, accountants, and other advisors to deliver seamless client service.
Support additional family office services as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook.
Experience working directly with clients in a professional services environment.
Experience with Quicken, QuickBooks, and/or Bill.com a plus.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
