About the Role:
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. This role is key to our month-end close process, financial reporting, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll dig into the numbers, help ensure accuracy and compliance, and partner with others across the company to support business goals.
What You'll Do:
- Own and manage key parts of the monthly close - journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and reporting
- Maintain and improve balance sheet reconciliations and support GL integrity
- Assist with financial statement preparation and variance analysis
- Help streamline accounting processes and identify areas for efficiency
- Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests
- Collaborate with AP, AR, and FP&A teams to ensure consistent, accurate reporting
- Stay on top of GAAP updates and ensure compliance
- Jump in on special projects, system upgrades, or process improvements as needed
What We're Looking For:
- 3-5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
- Strong Excel skills - you know your way around a pivot table
- Detail-oriented but can also see the big picture
