Beacon Hill is looking for a Law Clerk for a law firm in downtown Chicago! If qualified and interested, please apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- File and manage bankruptcy cases (Chapter 7 and Chapter 13), including adversary proceedings and motions using PACER (federal court filing system)
- File motions, appearances, and other documents in Illinois state courts using the Odyssey eFileIL system
- Must be able to file motions with little to no training using both PACER and the Odyssey system
- Perform occasional data entry and case updates using MyCase, Best Case, and Outlook
- Draft and email attorneys regarding filings and case statuses
- Maintain and update electronic case files and records
- Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed
