Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a well-established and respected law firm in Bloomington, Illinois, to identify a Deposition Scheduler for their litigation team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting attorneys and paralegals by coordinating and managing deposition scheduling and related litigation activities.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and other litigation events.

• Communicate with attorneys, staff, clients, and opposing counsel to confirm details and logistics.

• Maintain and update calendars, deadlines, and case schedules.

• Assist with preparation of deposition notices and related correspondence.

• Provide general litigation support as needed, including file management and document organization.

Qualifications:

• Please not that previous experience scheduling depositions is a requirement.

• 1-2 years of experience in a law firm, litigation support role, or related legal setting

• Familiarity with litigation processes, deposition scheduling, or medical malpractice matters a plus.

• Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus as well.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems (or willingness to learn).

This role can have part-time or full-time hours.
