Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join a law firm in Cincinnati, OH. This position is full-time, in office for the first 90 days with the potential for one remote day per week thereafter. Standard hours are 8:30am-5:00pm. This role is open due to growth.

Skills required and Job Duties include the following:

Below is a list of potential job duties:

  • Must have at minimum 5+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience

  • Manages personal injury cases from intake through settlement and/or trial

  • Drafts, prepares, and e-files pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and correspondence in Ohio state courts (KY, e-filing a plus)

  • Coordinates and manages discovery, including medical records, bills, and employment records

  • Summarizes medical records, deposition transcripts, police reports, and expert materials

  • Assists with demand packages, settlement negotiations, and lien resolution

  • Maintains litigation calendars and ensures compliance with Ohio court rules and deadlines

  • Communicates with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, experts, and opposing counsel

  • Assists with trial preparation including exhibit lists, witness coordination, and trial binders

  • Maintains organized electronic and physical case files

  • Strong knowledge of Ohio civil procedure and court filing requirements

  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a deadline-driven environment

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and client-service skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software

  • Paralegal certificate or degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience
