Litigation Paralegal- Chicago, IL (On-Site)

A Chicago Law firm is currently seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support a dynamic team of attorneys in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented professional with litigation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case initiation through trial;
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, correspondence, authorizations, interrogatories, and transmittal letters;
• File summonses and complaints; coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and proper service;
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests;
• Schedule and coordinate depositions with clients, experts, and opposing counsel;
• Monitor and manage case files, track deadlines, and maintain calendars;
• Conduct internal and online legal research, including court rules and procedures;
• Assist in trial preparation, including assembling trial binders, organizing exhibits, and communicating with court staff and expert witnesses.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment;
• Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail;
• Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and investigators.

Preferred Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of litigation experience, ideally in product liability or toxic tort claims litigation;
• Paralegal degree or certificate preferred, but not required.
