Position Overview:


A well respected St. Louis law firm is seeking a full-time Paralegal with strong experience in family law to provide comprehensive support to attorneys handling divorce, custody, support, and other related matters. We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-driven, and capable of managing a busy caseload with competing priorities and tight deadlines.

Primary Duties:

  • Prepare, edit, and format legal pleadings, discovery documents, and correspondence.

  • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all records are accurate and current.

  • Arrange hearings, client meetings, depositions, and filing deadlines.

  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, court staff, and opposing counsel-maintaining professionalism, empathy, and clear communication at all times.

  • Assist in trial preparation, including compiling exhibits and supporting materials.

  • Utilize legal software to track case progress, manage documentation, and assist with billing tasks.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least three years of paralegal experience, ideally in a family law practice.

  • Strong writing, communication, and organizational abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet strict deadlines.

  • Excellent attention to detail, initiative, and a positive, team-focused attitude.

  • Paralegal degree or certification preferred, though not mandatory.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word; experience using case management tools such as Worldox or ProLaw is advantageous.
