Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a highly organized and experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy asbestos defense practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team and play a key role in high-volume, complex litigation cases.

Position Overview:
The successful candidate will assist attorneys throughout all phases of asbestos litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and case management. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong litigation support experience-ideally within toxic tort, asbestos, or product liability cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and summarize documents and records provided by clients, co-defendants, and other third parties

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive case files, including pleadings, correspondence, medical records, and discovery responses

  • Assist with drafting and serving discovery documents, including interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas

  • Coordinate and manage medical record requests, expert witness files, and deposition scheduling

  • Support attorneys in trial preparation, including compiling exhibits, organizing witness files, and preparing trial notebooks

  • Monitor deadlines, track case activity, and ensure timely filings with courts and agencies

  • Perform database entry and maintenance for case tracking and document management

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information at all times

  • Collaborate with other legal team members to ensure efficient workflow and case progression

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred

  • At least 5 years of experience in litigation, ideally with exposure to asbestos, product liability, or toxic tort cases

  • Strong understanding of litigation procedures in both state and federal courts

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills

  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems

  • Familiarity with e-filing systems, medical record retrieval platforms, and litigation databases preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a hybrid work environment

Work Schedule & Benefits:

  • Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
