Personal Injury Paralegal
Plaintiff Personal Injury - St. Louis, MO
A well-established and growing St. Louis-based plaintiff personal injury firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a proactive, organized, and client-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about advocating for injury victims.
In this role, you'll work closely with attorneys to support clients from the moment they retain us through the resolution of their case. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing a large caseload, communicating with clients and third parties, and driving cases forward with compassion and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of plaintiff personal injury cases from intake to settlement or litigation.
Organize and maintain electronic case files using our case management software.
Coordinate and communicate with clients regularly to gather information and provide updates.
Request and review police reports, medical records, and bills.
Assist in preparing demand packages, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
Contact insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel as needed to obtain information and move cases forward.
Track case deadlines, hearings, and appointments to ensure timely progression.
Support attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and summarizing records.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 3 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury preferred.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills-comfortable interacting with clients who may be going through a difficult time.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using legal case management software.
A medical background or familiarity with medical terminology is a plus, but not required.
