Litigation Paralegal - Defense Litigation
Location: St. Louis, MO (Hybrid: 2 days remote/week)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week with flexible start and end times
Compensation: Commensurate with experience

About the Opportunity:

Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a respected defense litigation firm in St. Louis, to identify a Litigation Paralegal to support one of their partners. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced paralegal with strong organizational skills and a background in complex defense litigation-particularly product liability cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct supporton high-stakes, complex product liability matters.

• Assist with all phases of litigation, including discovery, document review and production, medical record organization, deposition prep, and motion practice.

• Draft pleadings, subpoenas, and correspondence.

• Coordinate with experts, clients, and co-counsel.

• Maintain and organize case files, ensuring timely and accurate docketing and calendaring.

• Support trial preparation as needed (previous trial experience not required).

• Track and enter billable hours (minimum requirement: 130 billable hours per month).

Requirements:

• 3+ years of defense litigation experience required.

• Prior experience in product liability and/or complex litigation strongly preferred.

• Must have experience billing time in a legal setting.

• Exceptional attention to detail, strong written/verbal communication skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Proficiency with litigation support software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Paralegal certificate preferred but not required with relevant experience.
