Job Title: Personal Injury Paralegal
Location: St. Louis, MO (On-site 100%)
Type: Full-Time
Experience: Minimum 2 years required
About Us:
Beacon Hill Legal is working with a great plaintiff personal injury firm on a search for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, client-focused professional with experience supporting attorneys through all phases of personal injury litigation, including medical malpractice and other plaintiff-side matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and other legal documents.
Manage case files and maintain organized records of medical records, bills, and correspondence.
Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, and insurance companies.
Summarize medical records and deposition transcripts.
Assist with trial preparation and provide support during trial, if needed.
Maintain attorney calendars and deadlines using case management software.
Conduct factual and legal research as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, or plaintiff-side litigation.
Strong knowledge of litigation process, especially in Missouri courts.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Compassionate and professional demeanor when working with clients who are often in crisis.
Preferred:
Experience with mass torts or complex litigation.
Paralegal certificate or degree from an ABA-approved program.
