Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a well-established, full-service law firm in Bloomington on the search for a Transactional Associate. This is an excellent opportunity to handle sophisticated transactional matters while joining a collegial environment with strong mentorship and long-term career growth.
Responsibilities:
Advise businesses and individuals on a wide range of transactional matters
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and related documents
Work directly with clients and firm leadership on complex legal issues
Develop and maintain client relationships within the Bloomington and Central Illinois community
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of transactional experience (3-5 years preferred); some portable business is a plus
JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice in Illinois
Strong academic background, client-service skills, and attention to detail
Position Details:
First 6 months in-office, followed by a hybrid schedule
Billable requirement of 1200-1500 hours in the first year
