Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a well-established plaintiff asbestos and mesothelioma law firm in Downtown St. Louis, MO to find a Junior Paralegal to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and serve discovery requests, including interrogatories and requests for production, across multiple jurisdictions.

• Track and manage discovery responses using calendaring and database systems.

• Maintain and update discovery tracking, including:

  • Coordinating with trial teams on response statuses.

  • Drafting and serving "no answer" letters.

  • Preparing and filing motions to compel and notices of hearing.

  • Sending requests for verifications when unverified responses are received.

• Organize and save discovery responses and document productions within the firm's case management system.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Paralegal degree or certificate (or currently enrolled in a program).

• Experience: 1+ years of experience in a law firm or equivalent legal setting.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.

  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.

  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
