Real Estate Paralegal - Hybrid | St. Louis
A prominent law firm is seeking a full-time Real Estate Paralegal to join its team in St. Louis. This position supports a national Real Estate Practice Group and reports to the Practice Group Leader, with daily work directed by assigned attorneys.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and perform due diligence, including reviewing title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and related documents
Assist in drafting and reviewing real estate conveyance and closing documents
Manage real estate closings for acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and debt transactions
Prepare and organize signature page packages, closing checklists, and closing deliverables
Handle recording requirements and assemble detailed closing books
Prepare, review, and file UCC financing statements
Order and evaluate UCC, lien, litigation, and similar searches
Assist with entity formation, maintenance, and related filings
Review and compile officer's certificates, resolutions, organizational documents, and other closing deliverables
Conduct fact and legal research, prepare reports, and manage associated filings as needed
Communicate professionally with clients and third parties
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with Paralegal certificate required
5-7 years of commercial real estate experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or title company
Experience with large, complex transactions strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of title and survey review is essential
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
High level of attention to detail and professionalism
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients at all levels
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, PDF tools, document management systems, and timekeeping software
Ability to work overtime as needed
Strong discretion with confidential information

Work Schedule:
