Real Estate Paralegal - Hybrid | St. Louis

A prominent law firm is seeking a full-time Real Estate Paralegal to join its team in St. Louis. This position supports a national Real Estate Practice Group and reports to the Practice Group Leader, with daily work directed by assigned attorneys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and perform due diligence, including reviewing title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and related documents

  • Assist in drafting and reviewing real estate conveyance and closing documents

  • Manage real estate closings for acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and debt transactions

  • Prepare and organize signature page packages, closing checklists, and closing deliverables

  • Handle recording requirements and assemble detailed closing books

  • Prepare, review, and file UCC financing statements

  • Order and evaluate UCC, lien, litigation, and similar searches

  • Assist with entity formation, maintenance, and related filings

  • Review and compile officer's certificates, resolutions, organizational documents, and other closing deliverables

  • Conduct fact and legal research, prepare reports, and manage associated filings as needed

  • Communicate professionally with clients and third parties

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with Paralegal certificate required

  • 5-7 years of commercial real estate experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or title company

  • Experience with large, complex transactions strongly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of title and survey review is essential

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • High level of attention to detail and professionalism

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients at all levels

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, PDF tools, document management systems, and timekeeping software

  • Ability to work overtime as needed

  • Strong discretion with confidential information

Compensation & Benefits:

Work Schedule:

Hybrid: 2 days remote, 3 days onsite
