Amazing opportunity to become a part of an established in-house legal team as a Paralegal reporting directly into the General Counsel. The team is looking for someone who is intellectually curious, a team player, eager to learn and grow within this role. The day-to-day responsibilities will be to:

  • Update and maintain the corporate records for all fund entities, including preparation of minutes, consents and related documentation.
  • Assist with periodic updates of fund offering materials.
  • Organize and maintain all documentation related to fund investments and investment consents.
  • Maintain information required to complete subscription documents for private equity and hedge fund investments and complete those documents prior to investment; assist with investment closing process as needed.
  • Manage the process of invoice payments following attorney approvals.
  • Under the supervision of the General Counsel, perform initial reviews of confidentiality and vendor agreements, conduct legal research, draft position memos, and help to codify processes.
  • Create, format, revise and edit legal documents, correspondence

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working as a paralegal, ideally within a corporate or transactional practice group
  • Ability to work independently and alongside a team is required, as well as a willingness to communicate actively to coordinate workload, priorities, initiatives, and goals.
  • Detail-oriented while being able to function in a fast-paced environment within a growing company.
  • Personable and able to work well with all levels of internal management and staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have high initiative and the ability to "roll up sleeves" to execute tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
