Debt Recovery Intake Specialist
Location: Lakewood, CO
Salary: Up to $55,000

Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a client seeking a Debt Recovery Intake Specialist to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values delivering excellent client service. The client is looking for someone motivated to learn, contribute, and grow within the role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage intake of new collection cases, including opening files and reviewing submitted materials

  • Request missing documents from management companies or boards of directors

  • Draft confirming letters to clients and track communications

  • File bankruptcy information in PACER

  • Generate documents and complete tasks as assigned by attorneys or paralegals

  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries

  • Maintain organized case files, both electronic and physical

  • Monitor Public Trustee foreclosures and prepare communications for clients and attorneys

  • Support the Debt Recovery Department Head and broader team with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; some college preferred

  • Prior office or administrative experience (law firm experience helpful but not required)

  • Familiarity with debt collection practices or FDCPA a plus

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage high-volume work in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; case management systems a plus
