Junior Partner - Estate Planning & Estate Administration
A respected and growing Massachusetts law firm is seeking a Junior Partner to help lead and expand its Trusts & Estates practice. This role blends sophisticated legal work with team leadership, client relationship management, and business development.
Ideal for an experienced trusts and estates attorney ready to step into a partner-level position with real influence over practice growth and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as primary client contact on estate planning and administration matters
Act as Responsible Attorney on most Trusts & Estates matters, overseeing strategy and execution
Lead and manage a team of associates and paralegals; delegate, review work, and ensure deadlines
Handle complex legal issues and mentor junior team members
Review billing, monitor receivables, and exercise sound financial judgment
Participate in business development, referrals, and networking efforts
Collaborate with marketing to support practice growth
Requirements
Licensed Massachusetts attorney in good standing
5+ years of Trusts & Estates experience (preferred)
Strong leadership, judgment, and client-facing communication skills
Detail-oriented, practical, and solutions-driven
Interest in long-term firm growth and continued professional development
