Our Financial services in-house client is currently seeking a Contracts Professional/Legal Associate for a 6 month temporary assignment starting in the next few weeks. This role will require 4 days in the office and 1day working remotely.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primarily assist with contracting and documentation for support of our client's Platform including drafting, reviewing and negotiating investment management agreements, amendments, ancillary documentation, RFPs and nondisclosure agreements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Advisory Legal team and business development and relationship management professionals.
- Collaborate with other members of the Legal team as necessary in connection with contracting work.
- Assisting with complex issues arising on documentation and helping to establish controls and processes where required.
- Support the development and implementation of technology solutions in relation to the contracting process, including AI and Microsoft Suite Power Apps.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of legal processes, design and efficiency.
As a member of Legal & Compliance, the Legal Associate will be a member of the Global Delivery & Enablement team, with a focus on contracting and documentation work primarily supporting oue clients Client Platform activities and improving process and developing/implementing technology solutions, including AI, supporting contracting and documentation.
