Beacon Hill is seeking a full-time Pennsylvania Foreclosure Paralegal with 2-4 years of experience representing creditors in foreclosure actions. This role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative legal team supporting high-volume foreclosure litigation matters for a primary institutional client. Experience handling New Jersey foreclosure matters and creditor-side consumer bankruptcy is a strong plus.
Position Overview
The paralegal will work under an attorney team lead and alongside a dedicated group managing all Pennsylvania and New Jersey foreclosure litigation for the firm's main client. This role requires hands-on PA foreclosure experience and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with direct client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Support attorneys in managing Pennsylvania foreclosure litigation matters from referral through judgment and post-judgment stages
Prepare, review, and file foreclosure pleadings, motions, and related litigation documents
Assist with case management, including tracking deadlines and maintaining accurate case files
Communicate directly with clients regarding case status, updates, and required documentation
Coordinate with courts, title vendors, and other third parties as needed
Support NJ foreclosure matters as applicable (experience preferred)
Assist with creditor-side consumer bankruptcy matters, including monitoring filings and coordinating case strategy (a plus)
Maintain compliance with firm procedures and client-specific guidelines
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience representing creditors in Pennsylvania foreclosure actions (required)
New Jersey foreclosure experience (preferred)
Creditor consumer bankruptcy experience (a plus)
Strong knowledge of PA foreclosure procedures and litigation timelines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment under attorney supervision
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Work Arrangement
Hybrid schedule: primarily onsite in the firm's Philadelphia office (firm policy is 4 days onsite)
