Beacon Hill is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a busy and growing Birth Injury Practice Group. This role involves managing a full caseload from intake through litigation and trial support. If you're detail-oriented, thrive in fast-paced environments, and have experience with medical records and legal filings, this is a great opportunity to make an impact in a high-stakes area of law.
Responsibilities :
- Manage all phases of litigation from case intake to trial prep
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and vendors
- Maintain case calendars, monitor deadlines, and track communications
- Handle medical and collateral record requests and manage incoming/outgoing case correspondence
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and other tools
- Prepare and file pleadings, subpoenas, discovery responses, and court documents
- Cite-check and proofread legal filings for accuracy and compliance
- Organize and maintain case files, deposition materials, and trial exhibits
- Support attorneys in scheduling expert evaluations and deposition logistics
- Strong understanding of legal procedures in state and federal courts
- Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to read medical records
- Experience with case management systems like Needles or FileSite
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, Westlaw, LexisNexis, and PACER
- 2+ years of experience as a litigation Paralegal preferred
