Beacon Hill is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to support a busy civil litigation and insurance defense practice at a well-regarded firm based in Center City, Philadelphia. This is a hybrid role, offering a combination of in-office and remote work, and is ideal for candidates local to the Philadelphia area.
This role will provide direct support to attorneys handling complex civil litigation and insurance coverage matters in both state and federal court. The ideal candidate will be confident working a case from inception through trial, including e-filing, cite-checking, and drafting legal documents.
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on litigation experience, including experience supporting defense or complex plaintiff matters
- Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload ("soup to nuts") with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in e-filing in both state and federal courts
- Strong cite-checking, drafting, and document management skills
- Familiarity with iManage (DMS) or similar document management systems
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment
- Bachelor's degree and Paralegal Certificate preferred, but flexibility for the right candidate
