Our client is seeking a dedicated Family Law Litigation Associate to join its Boston-based practice on a contract-to-permanent basis. This role supports a high-volume, high-net-worth family law caseload and offers flexibility for candidates who prefer either behind-the-scenes legal work or more client-facing responsibilities.
The team is currently stretched and in need of a committed legal professional who can provide consistent support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and manage financial statements, subpoenas, discovery responses, and pleadings.
- Assist with filings and document preparation.
- Engage with clients as needed, maintaining a balance of empathy and professionalism.
- Support deposition preparation and other litigation-related tasks.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in family law, divorce, or probate litigation.
- Strong understanding of financial documentation and discovery processes.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
- Open to either a back-office or client-facing role, depending on preference.
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid role based in Boston.
- In-office presence required for the first month and during key litigation activities (e.g., depositions).
- Flexible scheduling available; no strict in-office days required beyond initial onboarding and case needs.
Compensation & Hours:
- Hourly Rate: $55-$75
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week.
- No expectation of overtime.
